Love & Light & Lazer Laser Beams - What Does It Mean?
What does Love & Light & Laser Beams mean?
What’s with all the Lazer Beams?
I’m starting a trend…
You may have heard me say it to you as a salutation at the end of our call.
You may have seen it in my personal and now work email signature.
“Love & Light & Lazer Beams”
AND/OR
"Love & Light & Laser Beams"
You can borrow it. It’s my favorite saying. I co-created it. It makes me happy 💗I’m a creative person and a writer. It is my hope that Love & Light & Lazer Beams becomes widely used like “Peace” or “Dueces” or “What’s Up?” “See ya later” or like Bill & Ted’s “Be Excellent to Eachother” and “Party on, Dudes!”
Choose your spelling. If you prefer you can say “Love & Light & Laser Beams.” That’s what I went with at first. S or Z it’s up to you.
But what does it mean? For me, it means: I wish you well, I wish you have love in your life and light to guide your path. I also wish that anything holding you back from being your best self gets zapped out.
Because sometimes you need something a bit stronger than simply love and light. That’s what the lazer beams are for. If you’re traveling or stuck in traffic.
Now, instead of yelling and honking, I can simply send this message to the driver who cut me off or is two-hand texting while holding the steering wheel: “Love & Light & Lazer Beams!” and usually I send them “extra lazer beams” for good measure.
It’s as simple as that. And it’s helped me a lot. I started saying it with my husband, who was in the car with me while I had this epiphany of needing more than just love and light in any given situation. He encouraged me and was so supportive. So, I tried out saying it to our kids. Then to family. Then to friends. I started saying it out loud back in 2018 or 2019…
At first, most people just said “yeah, you too” or gave me a strange look. Some asked about what does that mean? Others started responding or saying it back to me in their own way. That makes me really happy when my stepson, who is 21 now, says it back.
My brother also says it back to me and adds his own twist:
“Love & Light & Lazer Beams!” I tell him at the end of our phone call.
“...and Death Stars.” he says.
It makes me smile. He's a Star Wars fan, obvi.
When saying this phrase didn’t cause anything bad to happen, it actually helped me feel better and spread some joy around to the people in my life, I started feeling more comfortable.
I mean, Superman and Supergirl have laser eyes. The dentist and medical procedures use lasers for tattoo removal to skincare. Light shows and DJs use lazers. Quantum science uses lasers to send messages out into space.
Think of the great variety of uses that lazers and laser have. The way I imagine it, laser with an “s” is reserved for medical, dental, scientific, logical, utilitarian, important procedures or situations where you need precision. Lazer with a “z” is more aligned with fun, live music concerts, and situations where you have a wider beam. From science to strobe lights, lasers and lazer beams are a necessary part of our society and culture.
Either way, lasers and lazers help us here on Earth and even in space to help us make our lives better. And energetically that’s exactly what this phrase does.
What does it mean to you?
A couple of years ago, back in 2022, I added it to my personal email signature. See below a p.s. message from one of the first emails I ever sent to a friend and colleague with it in June of 2022.
Love & Light & Laser Beams, ~Jennifer
p.s.the world needs more love and light but we also need action and cutting through the b.s. that’s what the laser beams are for strength and energy to find support/strength or to send laser beams where they need to go. I hope it makes sense. I’m here for you.
As of 2025, I’ve added it to my professional/business email signature.
I started telling some of my clients “Love & Light & Lazer Beams!” at the end of our calls.
My hope is that it gets translated into all the languages. A universal saying to help humans on this planet relate to each other better and help us manifest those good things we really want in life.
And, let’s be clear. I would like to take credit, be credited, and be attributed for my contribution. You know how some quotes say “author unknown”? Well, that’s not me. By sharing this story, I am claiming my origin story behind these words. Use them freely. Spread them far and wide. I hope it helps you. I hope you’ll think of me and smile when you say it.
Someday, I look forward to hearing someone say it to me first. That will be cool!
You’ve got to admit, it is a “weird” thing to say. At the very least, untraditional. I like being weird and I’m leaning into more of my own creative weirdness lately.
Love & Light & Lazer/Laser Beams! ~Jenn
